Topic: Biodiversity conservation, Ecological modelling and Environmental Impact Assessment.

A lecture on the topic “Biodiversity conservation, Ecological modelling and Environmental Impact Assessment has been taken by Dr. G. D. Bhatt Department of Natural Resource Management, Shiv Nadar University, Gautam Buddha Nagar, Uttar Pradesh., on 23 April 2016 for the students of M.Sc. Botany. He is the Expert in the Forest Ecology. During his lecture he discussed the important topics of forest conservation like types of conservation , PBR (people biodiversity register), BMC (Biodiversity Managing community), maps on biodiversity etc.
The lecture helped the students to understand the different topics in a practical way and from the point of view of life. Students got the knowledge related to methods and uses of genetics and tissue culture.
All the M.Sc. Botany and B.Sc. Biotech students were present in the lecture.
Conclusion: The lecture was beneficial to all the students of M.Sc. and B.Sc. they clear their queries related to the topic.
