Event Description

World cancer awareness day was celebrated in Uttaranchal College of Biomedical Sciences & Hospital on 4^th Feb 2016. Cancer is known as a silent killer. Most of the genetic and environmental factors are responsible for it. So a rally was organized by the students along with the faculty members of B.Ed, M.Sc life sciences and B.Sc Agriculture to raise awareness of cancer and to encourage its prevention, detection and treatment. The students had prepared posters and slogans for the rally. It started from the college premises, Sewla Khurd to Balliwala chowk.
