A social activity was done by Department of Environmental Sciences by MSc students (Semester II) and faculty in and around Transport Nagar.In this students and faculty aware the people about the hazards of solid waste and pollutionas well as the health and environmentalproblems that arise due to the same. Transport Nagar is much polluted area as most of the commercial transport activities happens to and fro from this region. The problems arise due to the solid, liquid and air pollution that make the lives of inhabitants even worst. Department of Environmental Science makes an effort to aware people about t he negative effects of the pollution and encourage them to have cleanliness around their houses for better health through posters and personal interactions.
